GMP 1:6 3.8 Liter Turbo Engine

I was thinking that maybe a bunch of you guys wouldn't mind having a 3.8 Turbo sitting on your desk (or wherever) so I wrote an email to Jeff at GMP's Marketing Division and here is what he said:

"...Now the engine might be a different story in 1:6
scale and I will have to check with EMI to see if it is available and what
the total cost of the licensing terms would be. I will let you know what I
discover."

Well, when he gets back to me, I will report back to you all.

I'm in ! Make sure its a TTA engine and not a GN ? (valve covers etc)

I se what I can do....I'll let him know that the Turbo Trans Am engine was faster because of the valve covers!

Well, bad news. Got an email from Jeff today:

Hi Walt,

I spoke with John O'Neil of EMI and the license is not available to us.
Sorry as it would have been a great project to do but you never know when it
will become available and John will give us a heads up.
