if a tta that didnt come with cloth originally and now has the correct cloth interior will that affect the resale?

If you want the most value from your car, then yes it should have the correct interior it came with from the factory.

A leather car originally with aftermarket cloth interior will not raise the value. It might not effect it, but you won't be able to sell it as one of the 184 cloth interior cars. (I think 184 is the number)

I would say most people would say no...however, it's your car, do what YOU like!

When I was looking to buy a TTA there were 2 festival cars I was looking at. Both under 20K on them. I wish I grabbed one as I like cloth in any car I own. Personally I HATE leather in anything. It's cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Most leather on anything American made goes to crap in a few years and starts showing it's age quick as is. I had a 87 T/A cloth car and I loved it. My TTA came along and it was down the street from my house and the deal was right so I didn't think twice and grabbed it up. The smell of a leather interior is about the only thing I like about it.

The cloth interior on my old car held up very nicely, even if I only averaged about 2k miles/yr over the 10 yrs I owned it. If you're looking for something to drive and don't want to deal with the degradation of the leather seats, go with the cloth.

BTW, 187 is the number of cloth/T-top cars.
