I was looking on line and came across someone selling 4 brand new old stock 255/50/zr16 Goodyear eagle gator backs I went there they had stickers and all . picked them up for $350 I don't know why I wish they were 245/50/zr16. Are they going to look funny on my tta . what car did this size come standard on. I see a some for sale on eBay say gnx I'm not to sure about that . the worst that happens is I'll be out $350 wouldn't be the first time or last.. Thanks

The TTA came with P245/50ZR16 Gatorbacks. You might have to see how much of a difference the 255 is. Might be ok.

Be fine on the back, may rub and look bulky on the front. I used to run 255/50/16 GSC's on the back before drag radials came out. They look a bit bigger and are.

They will lower your overall effective rear gear ratio a little by running the taller tire and the fronts may rub when the wheels are turned lock to lock.

That's funny the dot code on the tire's suggests 9/94 . Did they look awkward on the car. I used a tire calculator and the size difference is minimal . It's amazing that these tire's have been sitting around all these years and still look brand new and are still soft . Thanks..

The Vettes during the late 80s ran those size tires.
I have one, and was looking for another, for the back of the car, then I found a new set of the right ones for my car.
Still have the one, used.
