Since it is february and the roads are crappy we decided to break in the new motor on the dyno. I unfortunately wasn't there but my engine builder was excited to hear this car run. He says the idle is unlike anything he's really heard!
Spent more than 20 minutes spinning the rollers shifting throught the gears of new transmission and letting the engine warm up and cool down. Watched air/fuel with wide band, running a little fat but everything was looking/sounding beautiful!
He decided to try giving a part throttle and bring up the boost just a little. At 10 psi of boost it put down over 400hp to the tire revving just over 5000rpm. At that point of peak torque the fuel pressure dropped to 0 psi and the engine died. The fuel pump just shut off.
It was time for my engine builder to go home and take the car off the dyno. Not sure if the pump puked or a wiring issue. Haven't had a chance to test for voltage at pump yet. Either way I'm not sure what happened and why.
Good to have it running again for a little while, lol!
