Ground Cable

I feel free now that I can actually stop anywhere in between point A and point B without getting a jump.
For years I had to leave the running to fuel up because if I turned it off it wouldn't start unless I got a jump. Fixed the alternator, starter, replaced the battery twice all for a bad ground cable on the block under the turbo.

A good ground is imperative in these cars, that will cause alot of problems...

Yea, tell me about it. When I took the cables out I could not blend them, the where cooked. Did some upgrades on the cables to a 2 OT welding cables with heat wrap, and cut the power wires that hooked up at the starter and hooked up the alternator stud, and as for the grounds behind the manifold cut them to and rerouted them to a better ground source, so many things work better now.

The alternator was sent to the shop many times for that and ended up with a 1 wire alternator at 14.6 volts all day with the lights ac and fans going, very nice.
