Had to vent

Well guys don't know if I'm sad :down:, or just plain pissed off :furious:. Just got done mowing, everybody is asleep, took a shower, and ate some noodles.

This is the story, in March I took my vacation 10 days, planned it to drive the family to the reunion, and do some sight seeing as well. Well about 2 weeks ago my father calls me up (I own some rentals down south) and says theres crap all over the yard! The drain field finally gave out.

Short story if anybody ever replaced a drain field, or knows some one that has, well it costs a few G's! So no vacation and no first ever TTA reunion for me, :wall: just plain sucks. All the planning and waiting, wanting to see whats out there for sale. The only good thing is, I still have some of my TTA funds when I'm ready to buy, DEC/JAN.

Anyways hope you guys have a great time, and please post up plenty of pics, maybe some vids also!
 
I know what you mean, I have a few rentals too. People think that it's pure profit month after month but the truth is I'm happy just to break even. After taxes ,insurance,mortgages,repairs,vacancies and mantainence it almost doesn't seem worth it.

But hang in there,keep your eye on the end game, and invest in your investment.

Yes WS6, I've owned them for just under 19 years, and paid them off once, so not new to the game. Just sucks the first family trip is a no go. My kids are 4 years and 16 months, so would've been fun.
O well next year for sure with the TTA I will have it by then!

Too bad you can't make it....Hopefully there will be plenty of footage for us "non-reunion'ers" to drool over.

Job is done, but out a few grand, but what sucks is not going to the first TTA reunion, after that it's just the second, third, and so on. Just not gonna dig in the TTA funds.:thumbup:

^^^ I'm with you. I've had a lot of unexpected bills come up and decided not to spend the money going to the reunion. The icing on the cake for me was the city I live in decided to redo the streets and charge me $5,200 for my share:mad2:. I just can't justify the money to trailer my TTA 1600 miles round trip and all the other related expenses right now.

Anyway.... can't wait to see the pics and vids of what I missed :(
