Hard Top Leather For Sale In Germany Redone. Not Mine, But Interesting

Hmm if the exchange rate was not so bad thanks to the brexit announcement last year I would seriously consider it ....

Oh it's a smoking deal!! The problem is it's here in Germany in my Garage and nobody has seen it up close and personal. The Germans don't know what it is and think I'm overpriced as a regular 3rd Gen in great condition goes for around 10k Euros. If the car was Stateside it would be gone. I'm 100% sure of that. If I had a truly trusted friend in the States I would have already shipped it over to be sold, but I'm not willing to take that risk with casual aquaintances. So there's my dilemma.
I love the TTA's, but I haven't had time, and when I have time the weather is bad (which is 6 months out of the year). So it sit's in the garage. I didn't restore it to sit around, so I'd rather someone else enjoy. So for those that were wondering...that's the story.

I could store it for awhile till it sold in my garage, just a few hrs from the port of Savannah..hell who knows i may even buy it.... just throwing it out there but i totally understand where the apprehension comes from, not sure i would do it either.

Then why don't you send it to a reputable classic car dealership? Nobody will spend that money and add shipping sight unseen. Plus I don't want another hardtop in the states...lol

All i can say is while scared money don't lose no money it sure as hell don't win any either...i like cars that will make my great-grandchildren say what the hell is that ?:D

Let's think about this...hmmm...a dealership will buy it unseen and have me ship it to the States?? Send me the name of the reputable dealership and I'm in. For an individual it would be a great European vacation! What beats visiting Europe and buying a rare car while there?

Exactly I never said they would buy it unseen. Just like nobody here will buy it, pay the fees-shipping to get it here then once it's here pay shipping to get it to them. Buyer will be close to 5k out of pocket before touching it.
