Hello Gentleman,
I have been on this site for a while but never really posted anything. I Have a friend that doesn't do the internet thing that has a Hard top TTA with leather Interior. He has recently been thinking of selling his car. he asked me if I knew what the going rate was on these cars I have no idea and want to help him get an Idea of what the going rate for this car should be. Like I said the car is is a hard top w/ leather interior, Original paint, stock motor, and it has about 78,000 miles. He is like the fourth owner of the car. What should be the asking price?? I am even thinking of getting it off him.
 
well they only built 24 hardtop/leather so if the car is in good shape and with the right buyer it could bring some good $$$$ but the market for these cars are still difficult and even very low milage cars have a hard time fetching good money.
 
I have every reason to believe, considering the mileage, it would be worth $20K or a little better.......
 
A normal ttop leather car with that mileage in good condition would normally fetch somewhere around 14k to the right buyer. With that said, I think a hardtop will normally bring about a couple thousand more so I think $17-18k if he's looking to wait for the right buyer and $16k if he'd like to see it move a little quicker. Right now though the market is pretty soft because of the economy so he's going to have a tough time finding anyone looking to buy unless it's priced so low it's almost a steal.
 
Whats my 6K mile TTA hardtop/cloth car worth? Mine has never been titled and has no GM or carfax history entries. 100% original and complete minus window sticker. According to the registry it is between car # 5-7.

enough that I would continue to hold onto it until the economy gets better and third gen popularity picks up.
