has anyone ever tried to make a dp? what if you were to buy a gn 3in external waste gate down pipe, and cut it after the elbow and made you own dp to fit the tta. would that work?

If you got the fabrication skills and the tools then anything can be done ... lots of trial and error doing it to make sure it does not hit anything but yes can be done and it's not rocket science to do it.

The guys selling the TTA DP's have done all the work for you and have a jig to make sure the DP fits properly and they are all the same; so in the end up to you to determine if its worth the effort and if you have the skills and tools to do your own.
