Headlight drops below spoiler

This has been happening this week on my driver side headlight. Goes up and down fine, but when it drops down, the black lip that should rest on the white fiberglass spoiler drops under the fiberglass a bit and get stuck under it, so when you try to put it back up again it is stuck down....

Has anyone else had this problem and how do you fix it? Can you adjust the headlight forward a bit so that when it drops the black plastic rests on the white fiberglass like it should so it doesn't get stuck down???

This happened to me before, I went out and pulled it up over the plastic bumper cover and than it never happened again. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Thanks Jason, that's what I thought, but thought id ask before applying elbow grease and breaking another part.

Easy fix, for the driver side, there is a socket behind the top left of the headlight, just loosen that and you can adjust the headlight in or out as needed, this allowed me to move the headlight forward a touch so the lip of the headlight lays on top of the front spoiler and not slip under it and get stuck, then just tighten the socket back down. This probably happened when I got the HID's installed because when I picked it up and he showed me how they looked, the driver side got stuck and that was the first time I noticed it.

It can also happen when you are installing the metal plate the hood latch sits on, without having the headlights in the up position.
