i was just thinkin of this and since there are a few of us new TTA owners i was just wondering if there is anything we should expect when taking our cars outta storage....also is there anything we can do on our part to ensure a clean start up without any problems!!! deff a question for the turbo veterans

Unplug the orange wire (from ECM) located near the battery. Turn the car over a few times to build oil pressure. Then start. Remember, the cylinder walls, valve train, ... are bone dry before you do this.... This is what I do.

I agree with Joe, unplug the ECM and crank the engine over until you see oil pressure build up on the dash gauge. Then plug the ECM back in and start car. Good idea to check tire pressure, oil level ( incase your car leaks), trans fluid level, etc before driving away.
