Holy CRAP, Tree SAP!!! HELP !!! ---

WOW, I just got into my vehicle today and noticed I have "pine" sap ALL over my car. Atleast 10 dime-sized areas, and even more than that little specs!!!
Do you have any tips/tricks/or product recommendations for me?
Will it damage my paint if I leave it on there?
Seems like the more I rub it the worse it looks!!! It just smears all over

Make sure it's cool to the touch and not in direct sunlight then use bug and tar remover by Turtle Wax, the only thing they ever made that was worth a damn...

Like I said, WD 40 Here is some info from their site and a link to it as well

W-D-40 will work, BUT rest assured if you rub too hard you will really be pissed and it leave's a residue that's hard to remove, just use the bug and tar (or any good wax and cleaner combo) and be done with it, we have a few pine tree's in GA and i've lived here for a minute, BTW, make sure you wash it first...

I use "Tarminator". It works great for tar, also says sap. Got it at the TA Nats in 2010, it was highly recommended. Still on my first can.

I use goo gone on factory paint. Don't know about resprays. The sooner you get to it, the easier it is. Wash off with soap and water
