How many Firebird/Trans AM's have you owned

I was wondering how many Firebird/Trans AM's everyone has owned. Here's my list:

1982 Trans AM (Crossfire)
1988 Trans AM (L98)
1993 Trans AM (LT1)
2000 Trans AM (LS1)

:wheelchair:

Jus the TTA for me as far as Firebirds. I also have owned an 88 Camaro Sport Coupe, my 87 IROC-Z, and a 383 Blown 91 Z28 Vert. Not counting my 84 GN with the Lear Siegler leather interior. I miss that car. :(

88 GTA with the digital dash and an L98. Fun car, autocrossed it once. Had some minor rust problems, typical wear and tear. Had plans to Super-Ram and stroke it out, but decided not to. Was a daily driver, now sold.

87 Base Firebird, total basket-case car, worn-out LB8 V6. Was going to fix it up with the gray interior from a junk 1986 Camaro, but it didn't work out the way I wanted it to. Should have kept it stock and driven it to the ground. Picked it up for only 300 bucks, even for the condition, it was a steal!

89 TTA. Needs work. Got some goodies in the mail today so I can get her running again - LS1 MAF, Translator, Scanmaster, and the adapter fittings to plumb the MAF in. I should be driving her again within the week! By far the fastest F-body I've owned/driven/rode in. (Although I wouldn't say no to a ride in a 4th gen Firehawk...)

More Chevys in my past, but I like the 'Birds best. My history >>

1979 Trans Am (Good fun even with the 403)
2001 Formula (LS1, supercharged)
1989 Turbo Trans Am

1981 bandit TA, first car
1980 TA, daily for a while
1989 TA, what i have now.

the 89 has been the best for sure, but i loved that 81. black with gold trim, all original parts except for tires, i think it was 30something thousands miles on it... it was so beautiful. it got more attention than the TA i have now >.>

my signiture pretty much says it all.......

1990 to 1999 I had a 1984 firebird with crappy 305 automatic I did rebuild a 350 and swapped to a 5-spd in 1994--dam I wasted a lot of money on that thing

1994 bought an 83 trans am to get the 5-spd parts

1998got a 86 trans am for $600 just to get the GTA rims off it then I sold it for $1,000

2000 had a 89 GTA 350 TPI auto firered metalic got that 1 with the plans of swapping my GN engine into it drove it for 1 yr with and totaled it in the rain--never did the swap

2003 bought my engineless 89TTA for $5,000 it had linelock spohn torque arm and trans crossmember new koni struts new tires new brakes and rotors 1" lowered springs and 304 fulepump

previous owner also rebuilt my GN engine and installed everything -no charge for labor

I also bought the ported TTA heads and roller cam from him

78 TA with Fire Am Herb Adams suspension, 400cid cam headers nitrous etc (sold to my brother still has it)

89 TTA (I've owned same car twice) had 10,000 miles the first time

98 TA LS1 t-tops leather (Sold last summer)

98 TA WS6 6-spd currently has 18,000 miles

And 92, 95, 94, & 99 camaros too.

I had a 89 305 TPI factory 5 speed (3.45 rearend) with a k&N and Gale Banks cat back exhaust.
Smoked lots of people with that car, unitl I raced a GN. Time to upgrade to the 3.8 turbo thank you very much and then the fun really began and so did the trips to the court house, hey whats a 17 year old gonna do with bottled lightning? I had a 88 350 TPI Iroc with 2.88 rear end. It was slower than a Fiero GT!!!

76 T/A 400/400 - first car, loaded, no T's, white with red and gray decals, white/green interor, hunny combs. Bought it in my senior year ['89] from a one owner woman - SOLD
