How should the door handles be?

I have seen plane door handles, door handles with a white insert, and door handles with a white insert and the same writing as the door decals (like mine). How did these cars come from the factory and was there anything for the door handles in the owners kit?

they should be black with a white insert. Someone made the decals to put inside the door handles I believe and sold them quite a while ago.

Thanks for the quick reply! Do you know of a source for the white inserts? I do not recall seeing them on Hawks or any of the other sites.

I had ordered some from GM back when they were still available. I think they came like 10 to a set or something. I never did end up receiving them. Your best bet is probably to find out who did the aftermarket ones with the lettering and see if they will do some more with or without the lettering.

I would go to a sign shop and have them cut you a piece of white vinyl with some sticky on it. Cut to fit and you should be fine!

I think it was John's performance who sold the door handle stickers. Maybe than can just be removed.
