I need some direction and advice

Thanks for having me on the forum.

Just to give you guys some background, I've been working in the automotive retail field for over 20 years. I currently help manage a Ford franchise in the Philadelphia area.
I got started in the business in 1986 at a Buick franchise and witnessed my fair share of Grand Nationals, Turbo T-Types and a couple of GNX's in that time. In late 1987, I moved to a Pontiac franchise, that unfortunately, no longer exists. It was a pretty good period for Pontiac in those days.

It was during my time there that the dealership was scheduled to receive two 1989 20th Anniv TurboTrans Ams. We were very anxious because the vehicles were late for delivery from the factory for various commodity issues, and as you can imagine, the interest in the vehicle was huge.

We finally received the first 20th TTA, but because of the delays, the car arrived from the factory without the Indy Pace Car decal and without the Turbo cloisonne on the sides of the car.

The cloisonne were mailed at a later date and I came to get own of these sets, that I recently discovered in my basement.

I'm trying to gauge if there might be any interest in this type of item. I'm not sure if you guys have ever seen them packaged? The set was mailed from PAS, and it contains the TURBO emblems, a template to mount the emblems, a separate page of directions, and a check to the dealer for technician time to mount the emblem. It's kind of a novelty for the 20th Anniv collector.
I'd appreciate any comments. I guess I could always Ebay them, but I wanted to get some insight from some knowledgeable people first.

Thanks in advance

I bought two origional GM Turbo emblems in package last spring from Ebay. I think I paid about $95 plus shipping for them. Turned out that one looked great and the other was a piece of junk. It was not a real positive ebay experience. The guy wasn't real easy to deal with. I still have them in package on my shelf. If somebody wants to buy only one from you I'd be interested in the other one as long as the price is within reason.

Thanks for the info Quik6.

I'm not sure at this point how I'd like to sell them.
To be honest, I didn't even know if there would be a market for these, considering the rarity of the vehicle.

Maybe I could take some pictures to show you guys. That is, if I can figure out the attachment prompt

If you can't get it to post feel free to email it to me. I will host it.

I'd like to see what this package looks like.

I got a brand new set for like $45 dollars from ebay and put them on the car. The originals are still in damm good shape, but not for sale.

Gook luck!

Yeah the emblems aren't going to bring a big buck, I'd expect them to bring around $150 or maybe slightly more if they're in perfect condition (just because they're in the package does mean they're in perfect condition). The other information is what will make the entire package worth more. Your best bet is to put it up on ebay and let everyone throw their money at it.

I would ebay them if you want to max out on the value of them. It's like anything else for these cars. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for them! :)

Thanks for all the info.

I'd like to post some pictures for those who've never seen them.
I'll see if I take some quick pictures and post them later
