Intake Air Temp Sensor Position?

Where is the best mounting position for the IAT sensor, using a 8" K&N filter & the chrome pipe going to the turbo? I heard some say to drill a hole into the air filter, before the MAF and others say drill/tap the pipe after the MAF. Does anybody have any pictures of there set up, so I can get some ideas or any recommendations would be great, thanks!!!

I drilled a hole in the neck rubber neck of the K&N and just pushed it in. Works fine!
