It lists something called "W2" High Output LT1 option. I've never heard of such a thing and the WS6 (ram air 285hp) cars didnt come out till 95. I've never saw the ram air hood on any stock 94, I don't believe the firehawk was even made that year.

But it looks stock, is this dealer rice or an actual low option? All and all a pretty sharp 4th gen at a pretty good price.

Two 1994 25th Anniversary Trans Am Firehawks were produced per HPP.

This '94 25th Anniversary Trans Am Firehawk convertible is one of two produced and is owned by Ryan and Grace Corcoran from Milford, Pennsylvania.

From:

Twelve 1994 Trans Am GTs were shipped to SLP as pilot cars and were equipped with the Firehawk setup, of which two are 25th Anniversary
convertibles and three are 25th Anniversary hardtops. Some of these pilot cars also had headers installed bringing them up to 325 HP (although it's
more like 340 HP).

From Dave Hamburger of SLP:

It's real, 2 verts and one coupe were done.

I don't think it's anything special, other than a 25th with a Ram Air hood. Looks like the original dealer was trying to charge an extra $5k for that car. :bash:

I remember Dave Doern had a 25th which I believe he sent to SLP and had it converted/upgraded to a Firehawk. And I think there was another guy in the Chicago area that did something very similar.

Yeah that's nothing more than a nice 25th TA that someone has added a ram air hood to. As for "W2" I'm not sure what the seller is trying to refer to, RPO's are 3 digit.

And to clear up one misunderstanding, there was indeed a Firehawk available in '94.

Couldnt remember when the first version of the 4th gen firehawk came out i know it was 315hp didnt know they had the 25th ann version in one though.

At any rate I've always thought the 93-97 were the best looking with the Ram Air hood, much better than the 98-02s. It looks good on that 25th ann.

Great thread!

I thought I was pretty knowledgable on the '93-'97 cars..........I guess not. When I was 20, I bought a '94 TransAm GT brand new and had done a TON of research on the car..............it just goes to show even an old dog can learn new tricks. :D
