These $64 dollar tires are about the biggest PITA I've ever seen. Went to get my tires put on some BRAND new GTA wheels. Got there and got right in :WOOT: . Told them what I wanted and said "I want stick-on weights and please be careful these are brand new wheels." I paid an extra $5 for them...what a rip

About 15 minutes later they are done....He used the clip on weights and SCRATCHED the wheels. I was fuming...:bomb: :bomb: :explosion: Talked to the manager, or yelled at the manager..he said sorry? Not good enough for me. They are supposedly going to pay for the damage..we will see.

Thats my sunday morning story!

Damn that blows! I went to one of our MAGNA members to have my tires mounted on my new GTA rims just for that reason. One of our members owns a tire business. I also made sure the tire guy and installer knew I wanted stick on weights and to be careful with the rims. Those rims get messed up so easy. 90% of the tire places have some kid making minimum wage and he could care less about your rims. No matter what car or shop I go to I stand on top of the people as they work on my cars. If they don't like it I go somewhere else. Lucky I know some good people and they even don't mind if I help out and join in. A good shop/mech. is worth their weight in gold!

As far as the tires.. you pay $64 dollars for a tire of that size you should expect a piece of $hit to show up!

When transfering tires from my dads wheels to mine, they got it all wrong. They put the slicks on the front and the radials on the back? It was a mess...
