It's been a very long time since I've been on here, probably about 5 years or more since I semi-regularly posted. A lot has happened since then; moved 4 times, bought 4 different cars, done some travelling, but the one thing that has stayed the same is the TTA (even the mileage barely changed). Last time I drove the TTA was about 3.5 years ago and it just didn't seem to run right like it didn't pull hard enough, getting beat by a stock auto LS1 confirmed my suspicion.
Anyways, it's time to bring the TTA out of retirement. I'm planning to pull the motor in a couple weeks and replace all the gaskets, check everything, replace valves springs, possibly put a hydraulic roller, maybe a bigger throttle body and plenum, and we'll see what else comes around. I also just ordered a set of the 17" GTA wheels from Hawks Third Gen, at one point I bought a set of 17" 3-piece snowflake style wheels that I wanted to get hoops made for the correct offset for the TTA but the costs prevented that from happening.
In addition to the TTA I've had a couple other projects. A 2010 CTS-V sedan (for sale if anyone is interested)
Been working on a dream build, 1972 Chevy C10 with air ride, 5.3L and 6L80e, wilwood brakes, etc. We're still working out all the kinks and tieing up loose ends but we have about 4k miles on it now. The truck is made to look stock, but drive and cruise like a newer truck.
I've seen some familiar faces and I hope everyone is doing well. Look forward to catching up, I'll probably be doing a lot of posting over the next couple days.
