Hello everyone. Would like to add #251 to the registry, but had trouble getting on chris's web page. Any help would be appreciated.

She's stocker. just purchased 2 weeks ago. was garage kept whole life with 2 owners. pretty heavily documented vehicle with build sheet, bill of sale and window stickers. dont know how much that helps down the road but have them away. would like to tweak a little on it but now to disturb the value . any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just saw your post over on Turbobuick.com. Those guys were making some pretty smart suggestions.

The car will go as fast as your wallet will take you. Give us a budget and we'll tell you how fast it will go.

The only thing I didn't see mentioned on the other site was your choice of tires. They can make a BIG difference on your holeshot

Congratulations on your purchace!

Eric

thanks for the suggestions. not real interested in dragging this particular car, have olds cutlass runs 7.05 195mph in top sportsman.i will probably install michelin's , dunlops on it now. hate em. would like some info on converter replacement. just some tweaks to pep it up a bit. runs strong now to be bone stock.thanks for the post, Jeff

not many bone stockers left that arent trailer queens. they are fun cars to drive. good gas mpg if you leave your foot out of it but who does that!!! Thanks, jeff9200

It's hard to stay out of it but when you do the fuel economy is pretty good, I drove my hardtops home from the west coast(884 from Reno, NV to NYC and 1461 from LA to NYC). I saw 24-28mpg with 1461 depending on speed and terrain and saw as high as 34mpg with 884 because at the time it had 2.77 gears in the rear.

I do love driving them though, thats why I wont buy low mile examples(mine have 52K, 60K, 61K, and 73K), they are just too much fun to drive :)
