Happy New Year all... and I just signed up in hopes of eventually being a real owner of the great TTA. I have owned an 86 Buick GN for 23 years and loved every minute of every drive in this incredible car. So been a fan of the TTA since day one and now I need one. 89 was the year I joined the forces and fitting that getting one in my final years just seems right.
So here is my issues.
1. First car is a 12000 miler and the asking price is 20k. Nice car and of course the spoiler on the back is toast, and a few nicks and a dent in the roof, small but there. Car has a ton of mods, alky, exhaust, trans, turbo, injectors, all gtg, and a ton of power of course. Owner not really wanting to sell I figure... and it has a scratchy sound every few rotations of the motor... sounds weird and I could not pin point it or figure it out... on the turbo side of the engine.
2. Another one going to see it today I hope and it is a 24000 dollar car and low miles too and no mods. Just seems the price is way out there... and I am sure they were worth this and will be again, but not in the current market.
Looking for your knowledge and input. I also found a couple GNs that might take my current slush fund for my automotive addiction if I cant have a TTA. But those I understand lol.
Thanks for any comments and have a great holiday.
