Hi all!
I've just been hitting the Junk Yards!!!! Boy, what fun!!! I picked up a set of Buick V-6 heads. I'm thinking of playing with these, and keeping my 20th TTA heads stock, off to the side. I don't know, just playing around with the idea. At least I got them. HeHe! Then, Sunday, I hit another yard, and scored pretty good! I got a white '89 TA rear bumper (just dirty, but I might have it repainted-who knows), a regular Firebird rear spoiler (but it came with the third brakelight-I'm thinking about making strobs for my rear spoiler-Pontiac used the third brakelight assemblies to have the strobs all the way across the spoiler-I might also-now I've got three spares!!), got another rear shelf tan carpet (matches my 20th TTA-hell-for $8.50, who wouldn't), got
a bunch of tan interior peices (plastic screws, rear hatch bottom cover, rear hatch strut covers, even the door sill plates-just dirty, and I got a rear hatch pulldown assembly!!!!) Heck, they forgot to charge me for the pulldown!!!! HeHe!! I also picked up some of the painted white aero package peices. I also got quite a bit of the black plastic lug nut covers!!! I've already got tons, but what the hell!!!! All these parts were off of a 1989 Firebird with the Sport Appearance Package!
Besides all that, I got the usual second gen stuff for my cars. More rear spoiler corners.
Chrome steel center caps (these need the center emblem), snowflake chrome lug nuts.
Tons of the little stuff!!! I even picked up a couple of battery holddowns for the third gens!
Just a couple of fun days to keep me busy! Ha! You gotta come out and visit!!!
On another note, I am thinking of getting another 1974 Trans Am with the 455 engine! This one is red, with a black and white interior. It is all torn apart, but it has some great stuff!!! Disc brake rear! HO racing sway bars, both front and back! I
know, I've already got two waiting to be put back together, so what's one more???? Ha!
Man, am I crazy???? You know it!!!!!
