low boost

car doesnt want to go over 16lbs of boost. same turbo, wastegate, chip, everything. adjusted the gate tighter doesnt change a thing. it still spoools fast. used to run about 20lbs , since spring only get 16. guage is good as i can feel the diff. any suggests

Check for loose intercooler hoses, up pipe hoses or an exhaust leak.

Also check and make sure the wastegate hoses for the boost are in good shape, no cracking and it has to have the correct orifice in the "Y", for the TTA.

If I had standard worm clamps on the IC and turbo change to t-bolt clamps. Holds better under boost.

What is the history on the car? mods , mileage, amount driven ect., and of course what maint. has been done and when... little thing's can be big problem's and tend to snowball, sorta like my first wife...:yes:
