Made a little progress...

Glad you are working on it Robert, it is coming along good. I got a question concerning the hood that is on it now. Does that hood have the vin # on it when it is opened in the front right side?

Ok where is the Frig, or cooler, don't see them in the pics?
 
Yeah it has the vin that is blurred, i'm sure it's been replaced; the fridge is in the corner and will hold 82 beer's ....:cheers:
 
HT is looking good! Now get to work and get the rest of that insulation put up. Lol :kidding:
 
Damn I need some leisure amenities in my garage! A pool table and running water would be a nice start for me.... nice setup!

A friend has one in his dining room, has a custom top that turns it into an elegant dining table...no reason why you can't make one with a custom work bench top for working on car parts :)
 
Robert when you say new wheels do you mean rims? Where are they from? What was wrong with stock ones?

Yeah, new rims and tire's. I got them from Bigdogtta a while back they have been reconditioned, the old one's just had the usual clearcoat coming off..

Then again who know's ? the magazine said he buckled the hood when it blew the uppipe off, but if you look close at the pic you can't see any damage, until i can talk to someone that was there or knew the orig. owner i guess it will be a mystery... i do know that the orig. owner has passed.

Yep who knows! The original owner wasn't the driver was he? I think he had someone else drive it. Maybe that driver is still around! It would be nice to know the answers to this mystery.:)
 
A guy named Terry Herman was the driver, either way when that uppipe blew off at 170+ mph i'll bet that's something he will never forget...
