More front mount ic questions..

okay so I have found a nice precision intercooler that should fit in the nose section of our cars. the inlets are 2.75 my question is what size piping should I run? is it okay to run 3in from turbo to the 2.75 intercooler inlet then 3 in to the throttle body?
