Since these are very hard to come by these days, and I am not paying a arm and a leg for one. I got a used one for $40 and cleaned and degreased it up really good and it looks good now. Should be fine for a spare.
That's what I did with the OEM one I took off my engine and kept it as a spare just in case ... they do clean up nicely ... worst case maybe bead blast them or similar ..
