My TTA Featured in Newsday

Well, on the back of PhillyTurboSix's post of his awesome media spotlight, I thought I would share my very small moment.

Newsday, the Long Island NY newspaper, included my TTA in their "In The Garage" section in 2010.

Can you imagine the reaction from my wife after dragging her to Cleveland, OH from Long Island on Memorial Day weekend in 2009 to look at a car when there was one right near my home.. hahaha.

Yes, I have gone a bit extreme too and have a "Fire Chicken" tattoo.

I am somewhat extreme also, my living room is my "Pontiac" shrine, I have my greenlight models, some TTA prints, trophies, few hot wheels and a "Firebird" neon sign. I have to confess, I have a few tattoos also, but none of them are car related. lol

Cool. I've tried to limit my stuff to the garage, but some did manage to find its way into my den and train room. If I could have my way, there would be the nose of a TA hanging on my den wall and a hood with bird hanging from the ceiling. Don't think wifey will go for that just yet. Ha.
 
hey i live in franklin square and i didnt see that in newsday when was it in!!! car looks awesome and was deff a great write up

Thanks Bigdom. I was also on News12 last year when I did a car show at St. Anthony's to raise money for one of the Suffolk County police officers that was killed in Commack by me.

You can catch me out at Cedar Beach on some Saturday nights or the old OBI parking lot on Sunday mornings with a bagel. Bring that TTA850 out there.

If you are going to the reunion, we should hook up and travel together. I already have an old friend from LI that I think will hook up with and then meeting another friend in PA along the way. PM me if you want and let me know.

Rob u gotta re read the last sentence in ur first paragraph that just sounded so wrong lol it took me a few minutes to realize what u were saying haha it sounded so wrong lol I'm deff gonna try n get out there sun morning u should come to belmont this sun...and I will deff be hittin u up for the reunion this summer I'm deff down for goin

hahaha. Damn.. You're right. That did not come out right.

For the record, the SCPD Officer was killed by a drunk driver in Commack, near me, not by me. I was supporting the fund raising efforts on behalf of friends and family.
 
Looking Good Rob. That is one nice TTA. I see you still have the carlisle sticker on the windshield from last year. I am going to try to make it there this year so let me know if you will be going. Thats a great article and i am happy to see you got your car published.
Cant wait for the reunion. Got a lot of work to get done before i go though. Should be a blast driving out there with a bunch of TTA's. Dom, good to hear you will be running with us out to Ohio. You can be in charge of bringing some snacks from the bakery. I am working on getting a few other people to join us on the way out there.

hey rob someone at the belmont car show today was asking if i knew you he said theres a guy in commack named rob with a tta car 6 something n i assumed it was you lol small world
