Need Hi-Res Photo of Differential Housing

I am trying to determine the tags and locations for the 1989 Borg Warner rear ends. Does anyone have a good image of an original rear end depicting the tags that bolt on with the cover? I would greatly appreciate a pic. If you need my email to send a pic just PM me. Thanks.

Best pic I have, its not a TTA but its a 9bolt with low miles.

OK, that is really close! Does anyone have something a little bit closer/better?

It looks like the wider tag goes on the right and the slimmer tag is on the left, but I can't distinguish which bolt on the left side.

Yep thanks to Jarred I got some really nice tags for my diff cover ... both of mine where rusted so badly you could not read them (one even had a hole in it) ...

Anyway some pictures that should help, also be careful when tightening the bolts holding the tags so they don't start twisting and you will ruin them.

Just thought of another question...The serial no. on Jan's tag (1938) what does it correspond to? VIN? rear end serial?

That would be the serial number of the rear, warranty purposes and recall/quality. I'm sure GM kept them somewhere along with the matching VIN but never seen proof of that.

PAS have the serial numbers for the engine, transmission possibly intercooler for each of our cars but I doubt the rear as they had nothing to do with that one.
