Need Input On The Looks And What We Want...

I'm looking for ideas and some input on what we all want the forum to look like. Something that we can all agree on.

There are many themes out there and all can be customized. The current theme look great from my iPhone browser. There almost no need for tapatalk but I will still have it active.

Let me know what everyone thinks and wants.

We can also switch to SMF and have the classic look with the exception of the colors.

You guys and your i-phone browsers.......try looking at this site from a laptop! The font is terrible, the color looks too light of grey and you got to move your head around constantly to bring the font in clear due to the color. It need s to be bolder or sharper font. I personally don't use the i-phone for this site.

And the baby sh#$ color tan has got to go! JMO

You asked Chris, I'm just putting it out there.
Now I need some aspirins for my headache I have from trying to view this site.

Maybe I should just move on.

The background color has to change. I think the page is to bright and needs more color. I see where you were going with this but more contrast is needed. So for starters perhaps change the background color from grey/white to black or gold etc. also as BOB related some of the font needs to be bolder and sharper. I also do not use an iphone. I am a android user myself. My wife is a graphic designer/marketing coordinator. I can get her input if your looking for a more professional opinion. Otherwise I like it. It is much faster and smoother. Just have to add back all the links to vendors etc.
 
I agree, the background color when viewed on a real computer is pretty harsh on the eyes.
 
Chris, the black don't work ... using Firefox the white text on the buttons don't show up until you hover over them with the mouse etc. Really hard to see some of the grey text as well.
 
I finally got the site to come up yesterday on my laptop. It was more white and gold, today its dark grey. I agree, its hard to read. Could be the fact that I was so used to the old format. I will have to spend some time navigating around to get used to it. What is with the "trophy" points?? lol. What happened to the registry?
 
If you go to the bottom of the site on the left side where it says Core, you can click on that and select a different style/theme.

The registry and all info will be back eventually.

If your having problems getting the site to load it's due to your browser history, cache and cookies.

Don't worry about any data or files being lost. I have everything from the old site. In fact I think I'm paid up on the old host for another year.

It seems as everyone liked the old site and theme?

I can have that back on the new server pretty quickly if that's what everyone agrees on?????

I think this works very well, so for me I'm happy to stay on this new look and feel rather than go back to the old forum software.
 
New tech i have no problem with, what i miss is the white and gold, just sorta goes together... Pontiac nailed it with the GTA wheel and the TTA...
