Went to a track rental with the tta, in the morning I was hoping for a good run with cool air but could not hook up. Finally in the after noon it warmed up and I got some traction. This was with MT drag radials. Might invest in Hoosier slicks. There is also a bonus vid of my dad racing my corvette, he never races and I finally got him to do it!

Nice run Jarred!

There is not many 10 sec Turbo TA's out there. :aggressive:

Congrats,

Joe

Awesome, congrats! That's Vette looks very nice too, he really hammered it taking off :) Cherish those moments for sure, wished my Dad was still around to share those moments with :( kind of brought a tear to my eyes...

Ya we pretty much have the track to our selves all day for the rental. It's nice because I don't get trouble for running fast without a roll bar. I am not going to bar my car.

Me and my old man have lots of fun, usually at car shows. He bought a new Camaro and likes the show and shines.

Vette runs 11.80 @ 115mph on street tires. I'd like to see what it can do with slicks but don't wanna break the differential. It is original. Vette has a stroker and an extreme automatics 2004-r.

Awesome run...now which TTA is that? What size M/T's are on it?

Looks like that car works it's ass off in the front half of the track!

Do you have a PL file of that run?

For those interested here is a power logger file of a run I did 10.7 at 129. There is a bit of knock at the end that I cleared up on the 10.5 run by turning the alky up to max from 6. I was having a great deal of trouble running rich in low boost with the dual nozzle and alky coming on too early. I changed it to start spraying at about 15-16lbs boost and it spooled better, but then had some knock up top. Turned the gain to max and no knock. The 10.5 run I accidentally saved just the image on the screen not the entire run. I don't know how I do that but I do that about every third frickin time.

This is the same car I had in Hebron running 11.5. Its TTA number 366.

Has the following mods

weber stroker bottom end "SG1 block"
rjc deep pan
stock heads 7515 champion ported
champion intake
champion fuel rails
aeormotive fuel press regulator
aeromotive proseries pump
80 lb injectors
turbotweak SD chip
precision 6766 CEA ball bearing
Jim Dunn SLIC (No shroud at all)
rjc 4" intake
billet roller cam 218/212
PTC non lock 9.5
Extreme Auto 200-4r trans with cheap trans brake (best $150 spent ever)
4" drive shaft
Strange S60 rear end with Brake kit
3.56 rear gears
sphon suspension in the back
Detent shift thing from Rich
Mickey Thompson 295/50/16 drag radials on stock rims
razors alky dual nozzle (tough to tune vs single)

Great run and it sounded perfect. Nice to have the track to yourselves and have your dad along for the day as well. I have not had mine to the track since I bought it, but I did have it dynoe'd so I can guess. lol

I'm not sure what the horse power is. That was my goal mid tens repeatable, so now I'm going to focus on interior upgrades like new seat leather and maybe carpet?
I highly recommend a trans break for racing, best purchase. I was thinking of getting slicks and trying leaving with more boost to see if I could lower my 60'. Wel'll see.

I hate bench racing, but your car is making 600+ to go that MPH in a heavy car.

I look at your tune and you have so much left in it with a lot of safety measures you could put in.

I don't have a roll bar so to continue running 10's will be difficult. I'd like to tune more and get better times (of course) but I don't wanna get booted from the track. Jason any advice on tweaking the tune? I'm not good at tuning.

I need to figure out a way to call you.
