New guy here, whats up everyone? My names Eric. I'm good friends with Jim (PhillyTurboSix) and found this site through him, I own a 1998 Trans Am with lots of goodies :). pretty nice site here so far, i wish i had a TTA also, would look nice to my bird now. lol

Welcome to the board Eric :D I just sold an '01 ProCharged WS6.......I'll miss it, but my TTA is sure nice too!

does he like getting beat by them too :D ? Welcome to the board, I love LS1 cars and will hopefully own a LS1 TA in the next couple years.
 
We won't hold being friends with Jim against you :-) Welcome! I sold my '01 Firebird Formula a couple of years back. I was running an intercooled ATI Procharger with a little sniff of nitrous on top of it. She moved!!

What exactly do you have to do to blow up an LS1? Even pushing over 500 at the wheels, running 91 octane fuel, I couldn't manage to make mine skip a beat. I think it's all in the tuning! The clutch and rear-end, not so bulletproof of course ...

Exactly! A kid I know that tunes cars did some adjustments on mine and messed with the timing *big no no* , that plus insufficient fuel, ran lean, boom doing 65mph. very bad. smoke everywhere.
sucks oh well the 408 is going to be fun :)

Look the car is so much bigger then him. I think the engine went when the blocks fell off the gas pedal! :p :p

Eric is the perfect race car driver. You put him in the car, take the spare tire out and the car is the same weight as with no one in it! :p :D
