Hey Scott, welcome to the site. You guys still haven't started on that restoration yet? Let me know if you need to look at how anything was from the factory on the TTAs.

His car is stripped down to the shell and is on a rotissory. We'll be brining it over here in the next month to get going on the sheet metal work and paint.

There's a couple wrong things in the Hot Rod article.. it's 250ci and it's a 5" downpipe... Everything else is correct.

Going with a bit narrower drag radial tire but taller..
Freshing up the used transmission
Smaller 70GTQ turbo I got on a deal here recently

Possibly hook up a meth kit.. but I'll want to use it on a closed loop system with a fuel injector/s not a spray nozzle. So I'll be making my own kit in a way there. I've been torn on the Meth kit for some time.
All I've been running is regular 92/3 pump gas on 17-18psi.
Never had any race fuel in it or used Meth.... With the class I'm in on Drag Week I'm going to need to be at least a full second faster to even make the top 5.
Don't get me wrong.. completeing the event it's self is a challange. But I'd like to be somewhat competitive in my class as well.

lol yea I was going to say.. it's white and a turbo car your half way there! Looks good. I'm sure you could bring it out to Ohio and have some fun at the track with it! We always have a few hybird cars show up and race.
Tell your friend to get that TTA done in time for the reunion in July! The perfect time and venue to bring it out and show it off!
