New member just saying hi

Hi guys and gals, new member here, I was looking for a new exhaust for my mom's car and found this site from looking around on the net. My mom is 69 years young and yes, she has a TTA. It has been sitting in her garage for 15 years untouched, it has about 13,000 miles on it, mostly 1/4 mile at a time...lol. I'm trying to talk her into getting it running again. Maybe if people here can help me convince her we can make this happen. Nice to meet all of you. If you have any questions about the car just ask. I'm not sure what build number it is, we did know at one time, can u tell by the VIN? Looking forward to chatting more about these cars.
Thanks Bob:fuckkk:

Go to history @ memorabilia and click on tta vin list this will show your car number. Be sure to and it to the regestry. Did your mom buy it new? And we always like pics.

What's the FU for Bob?

The FU? lol I thought it was just a smiley face, didn't see that it meant that.

She bought the car in 1990, I worked at a jaguar dealer and someone traded it in on a new jag. It was less then a year old and had very low miles, about 3000 on it, when she bought it. I will post pics of it soon when I can.

It needs a new exhaust, the tail pipes have rotted out.

I'd call Denny @ Mufflex. Tell him you want a 3" straight thru catback system.
He will probably hook u up with 3" intermediate pipe and a Magnaflow 3" straight thru muffler. He can also make you a adjustable test pipe if you need one.

Joe

If you do get the exhaust replaced make sure they don't scrap the exhaust tips ... they are specific to the TTA ...

Oh and we do love pictures, also if there's any original documentation that you have would be interesting to see.

Any questions we can help out with just let us know !
