Hello all, I figured I say hello and introduce my self. Well I don't have a TTA yet, but I have been in love with the firebird for years now. Hopefully soon I will be able to get one, but in the meantime I will chat on the fourm and soak up all the info I can on these fantastic cars. I owned an 86 T/A for about 10 years and loved it to death. I kept all orginal and got many complements on it. However 2 lil ones and a new house changes ones look on things a bit, so I parted with it. But after the dust settles I want to get back in the saddle. When my 2 year old said, "Daddy can we get the Trans Am back" it pulled at my heart. So thats when I decided to start poking around a bit.

Nothing yet but this fourm is a huge resource, and I plan to spend lots of time here and hopefully make a few new friends too , and just maybe make a dream come true, by owing a TTA...

Hello and welcome Erick. Well at least you have good taste in cars! :) The turbo trans am was the best one ever IMO. You had performance and power. I had a few T/A's over the years and nothing can compare! Every time I drive my TTA I have a smile on my face. Not many cars do/did that for me! There is a lot of good people on this forum. You have some reading to do! :) Poke around you'll find it all here. This is the only place to be for a TTA enthusiast/owner!

Thanks Jim, I appreciate the warm welcome. I've been reading up as much as I can. I'm amazed the performance that they squeezed out of that 6...JUST AWESOME. Youtube has some great videos of TTA's, and they always bring a smile to my face, when they drop the hammer

You know, you get rid of some of those old cats, like maybe 72 or so of them, you will save on catfood a ton, and be able to buy a TTA really fast! ;)
All kidding aside, I hope you can get your dream car soon!

Good one George. :rofl:Here, kitty, kitty, kitty. The real reason for my user name is centered around my old 73 arctic cat snowmobile that I restored. Had one while growing up, so I picked one up and brought it back to life a few years ago.

Again thanks for the welcome.....Erick
