Hi everyone , looking for parts exhaust manifolds to start , bought the one from Ct , that was almost parted out going to take time and money , but I'm ready to bring her back , so anyone workhorses would enjoy hearing from you guys , thanks :-)
 
Welcome aboard! Glad to hear your bringing one back. Some of the parts are very hard to come by but keep surfing the forum and eBay as parts do pop up. Take some pics and keep us up to date on your progress! We always like to see shots of one coming back to life!
 
Welcome...I have a complete engine I will be parting soon. Complete with TTA headers, downpipe and complete exhaust.
 
Car doesnt look too awful bad in the pictures. I've seen worse. Good luck with your endeavor. Welcome to the TTA forum.
 
Wow!!!!! i would love to have first dibs on that , also i am assuming whole car parts, but as being new to the Forum do not want to step on any toes being the new guy, look forward to hearing from you
 
8289ta , im missing correct door panels, car is ultra solid no rust anywhere,of course all badging setting in someones drawers no doubt, but im not a hater...lol front seats need help and back seats are tan and black , yep tan and black lol , And on another note, i have 2 grand nationals 87 Gn and of course user name Gnx#077 but i must thank everyone , i just have never really had so much input so quickly thumbs up gentlemn, and looking forward to the" starting of the engine!!"
 
yes however seems like its not going to be a issue , just wanting to get this going, starting to get cool out , and we know how turbos love that dense air :fuckkk:
 
The engine is out of the car? I think I remember it needed a total rebuild. Do you know the history of it?
 
actually no i do not , what steps would i need to excersise to learn more about its lifetime ? And yes crank wiped out, really odd after dissasembly front journals look fine (ro) but 5 and 6 GONE ! ,,,does not looked like anthing ive seen , and i ve built a few .....block is matching number as well as trans ...
 
Jan Larsson might have some info if you give him the VIN. He may have the build number also. I thought maybe the previous owner might have had an idea how it wound up in its current state.
