New Turbo Porsche race

Are these super fast? It had massive tires and wheels. Anyway got the TTA out yesterday, beautiful cool mid morning day, great for a 23 +psi kinda pull. I pull out on my road and in my mirror I see a cool looking car coming up in my mirror. Then it gets near me. It's a new turbo porsche.
So anyway we get on the interstate entry and we both get into the throttle. I expected to get crushed, to my surprise I get several cars out. WTF, did they give up? Don't know. Got up to 100mph+... Maybe they thought why waste time on an old 3rd gen firebird....then most porsche drivers don't designate a firebird as 1st, 2nd 3rd or 4th, but most likely ... " I think that's a Burt Reynolds" type of car. Whatever, they couldn't keep up. So I guess for all they know they got beat by a Knight Rider replica that was painted white.

I think that it is pretty hard to find anything new/stock (until you get into the Lambo price range) that can run with a 23-psi Buick-six in a short blast :eeks:

beating any turbo Porsche is a feat. without knowing exactly which one. it's hard to tell just how fast it is but you could safely assume it's a low twelve machine at higher teens :thumbup:

well if it was a 2014 turbo S the 1/4 mile is 10.9 they are really fast.Back in 1986 the 911 turbo had a 1\4 mile of around low 13teens back then,he might of let off but either way nice job.:thumbup:
