Nos Valve Covers?

I bought left and right valve cover from another TTA owner, collector a while back.

The covers are new, left has a different number than the right one. I am wondering if they are NOS or not?:cheers:
 
Looks new and old and they are the correct ones just on our cars so yes NOS would be a good description unless they look like they been used :-) Nice score!

Thanks, They have no signs of being used. I suppose they are worth more off the car than on the car.

The boxes look old, I suppose someone bought them years ago.
 
Any idea where I can get a pair of these valve covers? I need a pair for Rayder, i don't really care for the gold ones that are on there now.

It should be possible to clean the valve covers up and have them bead blasted to get the gold paint off.
