Not 1 but 2 Blown Headgaskets

Well I am glad I got a second opinion on my car,

I called the guy working on it and he said my piston is OK. He said you have something else wrong with your car.

After taking the heads off the car, he discovered,

It has 2 blown head gaskets, each being in the middle cylinder on each side.

He said my engine has been rebuilt and has low miles on it, the pistons are 30 over and the rings are just now seating.

In my opinion, it could have been the heads were not properly torqued when they were put on, and this caused the 2 headgaskets to blow.

He is also taking the oil pan off to check the bearings and other things. The heads are already in the machine shop and a complete gasket

set has been ordered.

It sure is a big relief knowing it is the headgaskets and not something worse.

I am glad I got a honest opinion.:headbang:

It could have also been someone who was driving it before that has no clue what detonation feels like and blew them with crappy gas and too much boost. :)

Mike, you are probably right. Too much boost on bad gas is bad. I am for sure going with a Razors Alky Kit.
