Oil Pressure

Hey Guys, Just had my third oil pan gasket installed(Dutweiller thick cork gasket) and when I get into the boost it seems to still leak. Could it be high oil pressure or anything you guys can think of. What would make the oil pressure go high or is it normal to leak oil under boost. It is set to stock boost levels. I just dont know why this is always leaking.
Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Did you check the pan to make sure it's not warped? They warp pretty easy. That could be your issue all along. I do cork and a bead of silcone. Then let it sit over night or a day or 2 before I start. Also are you 100% sure it's the pan and not the rear main?

How much oil is leaking? They all leak some..hell i'd be more worried if it stopped leaking. Then I might be out of oil. Haha im kidding but a few drops is normal for these cars.

I'm wondering why you feel the oil pan leaks only under boost? Do the rocker arm covers leak too? Are you running the factory PCV system? Or vented to the atmosphere.

It seems fine after the gaskets are put on, I'll drive home without using any boost, look under car maybe a drop of oil on floor. The next time I drive and use the boost, I'll find a much bigger oil spill under car. The rear seal was replaced when I had the first gasket put in, so who knows it could be leaking. I'm wondering about what you said about the pan being warped, because after I brought the car back to the shop when it leaked again, the guy said the oil pan bolts needed to be "snugged"-Can over tightening cause the pan to warp? I dont think I would mind a drop or two of oil, but each time I boost it gets worse and worse.
I feel you guys are the only ones who know anything about these cars and your advice is always the best!!!!

Thanks

Yes the pan can warp very easy esp if some monster cranks them down! You'll have take the pan off and use a straight edge to see if it's warped. Being you have had it off several times it's very possible!

When I bring it back I'll have them check to see if it is warped, if it is can it be fixed or is new one needed?
