Oil recommendations

I apologize if there is already a thread on this. I tried the search for "oil" and said no results, so I'm guessing something is not working with the search.

What current motor oil brand is recommended to use in the TTA? I've seen some mentions regarding older cars of including additives with oil, but just trying to see what the best option out there is. Thanks.
 
Some people swear by and seem to have had good luck with synthetic oil... i'm just not one of them, anyhow i use Valvoline 10-30 VR1 racing oil along with Zddplus, a zinc additive... no matter what oil you use include the Zddplus or it's just a matter of time before you wipe the cam lobes... BTW you could get every person on earth to agree on one religion before they would agree on one brand of oil.
 
Thanks, I figured there would be some back and forth on different oils, but wanted to at least head in the right direction.
