Original Tire Question??

What came from the factory? was it Goodyear GSCs?

asking because I just changed my tires from GSCs, they had near full tread just starting to dry out. Didn't know if they were the original type tire that would be unavailable now and worth saving?

P245/50ZR16. When my OEM tires wore out, I replaced them with the BFGoodrich Comp T/A, and have used that tire (and the modern equivalents) ever since. The original tires were not GSCs.

Just FYI - I run a staggered setup, with 255/50/16 in the back. It looks, and hooks, better.

Throw those old GS-C's on Ebay. Someone with a '93 up 4th Gen will want them for OE for car shows or a 2nd set of wheels they can use for limited stuff like car shows where the factory tire adds points.

I tossed my GSC's and they looked perfect. They were hard as a rock and were dangerous. Someone might buy them and actually drive on them. Dangerous.
