Original TTA Plug Wire Question

The 20th aniversary plug wires that came with the TTA, were they only produced for each car or were more available from GM in 1989 or so?

I just got another set this week and these wires look new. They could have been on a TTA and were removed at time of purchase. Just curious.

This and another set I have came in the AC Delco 616N box. This set still had the plastic bag or wrap over the wires.

Where did you find them? I haven't seen a set on Ebay in awhile.

Got them on e-bay, but they were not listed in the regular TTA places. The guy had them advertised as new. They are even nicer than some of the other wires I have, some of the other ones came off cars with 10k miles or less. Got them from Arizona.

They were avalible (with the 20th Anniversary printing) from the dealers for a number of years as far as I know.

Later the 616N wires where the same but without the printing on them and of course they were then discontinued like everything else.

does anyone remember buying plug wires from me? I sold a new set about 4 years ago on this forum. Just wondering if the person who bought them remembers about it. I am curious to know how they are doing. I miss them terribly and I hope they are not getting into trouble. You know how it is. you can't tell them what to do. once they are adults. they have to live their own lives. I raised them in a cardboard box but for all I know they could be carousing under the hood of a ford, or worse.

I remember when the pizza boxes were available new for $100. I bought one before buying a car, only to give it away later on, along with 2 others. As gifts. ($3,000 down the drain). It did not occur to me they were worth more than their weight in gold.
