I was going through some of my older car magazines. I was reading a story about our cars in Musclecar Review June 1989. It quotes that they were planning on making 10,000 Turbo Trans Am's for 1990. Has anyone heard of this story? What happened?

Back in 1989 I herd this statement as well. Applied Technologies (ATR) told me they were planning on the run of 10,000 cars for 1990. This was as late as June of 1989. Buy due to the number of 20th Anniversary Cars still on the dealer lots (high price tag) into the Fall of 1989 the program was scrapped.
