No but my father has a 68 RS/SS factory 396 4 speed car with hounds tooth interior.
It now has a carbed LT4 with an auto

nice cars, I love the houndstooth interiors. We almost bought a 69 (might have been 68) Z28 396 4spd white with houndstooth interior, this was like 6 or 7 years ago and it was a numbers matching car that just needed a little work and the guy wanted like $23k and it was a little out of our price range so we passed, same car today probably brings close to $60k

If it was a true Z28, it didn't have a 396 in it, guaranteed. Every 1st Gen Z28 had a 302 in it.

ok, I'm not complete sure on all the facts so it probably had a 302 in it, I was only 13 at the time and was just getting into cars.

I wish I would've bought that '69 Z28 that I found for 30K a few years ago.
