Over Boosting!

Was driving TTA 1165 yesterday and got into the boost(Stock Turbo) when I heard a Popping sound and the turbo shut down. Pulled over and noticed the hose leading to the MAP sensor had popped off and also the big hose coming from the vacuum block was also off. Reattached them when i got home but when you boost up it goes past 20 PSI. This is the first time I have had issues with the turbo/boost, any ideas what it might be or what i should check first?

Thank's
Jim

First things first, tie-strap all vac. connection's , and don't get into full boost till you find the problem.... also check all lines for cracks.

Check that the vac line is still on the red pigtail wire that mounts on the passenger side valve cover. That and do as rob says vac tie all vac lines. Better yet replace them all with new ones and tie them with zip ties or clamps. They get old and crack and can leak or fall off as they have.

Thank,s guys. Upon closer inspection some of the vac lines could use replacing.
Hopefully that will do it.
