#1239 showed up today, no owners manual. Where is a good reasonably priced place to obtain the manual and the turbo supplement? Thanks
 
You should have both the regular '89 Firebird owners manual (black with red arrowhead) and the 20th Anniversary Trans Am owners manual supplement (thinner, white with 20TA emblem and indy emblem) They pop up on Ebay now and again. There are also the GM service manuals that you should try and find. They are invaluable as most mechanics will look at the car, cock their head to one side and say "Why did you put a V6 in here!'' Or something to that affect. Learn as much as you can about the car so you can do most of your own work. Also try and find a mechanic that knew about the TTA or works on GN's. It is getting harder to find them as time goes on.
 
Glad to see it arrived all good, Are you happy with it so far? I'm not 100% sure, but I thought, I remember flipping threw it, at it the first dealer that had it, back in April. Anyways, check out ebay & local swapmeets, I'm looking for the owners manual supplement myself also. If you do get the PHS docs, don't for get to add it to the registry! Congrats on the new ride!!!!
 
TTA 1077, got the service manuals coming, my friend from Texas has 7 GN's and he spends his summers here in the NW. I have a OBD 2 which is for the newer cars so will have to get a OBD 1 for this one.
 
TURBO1, Except for the trashed front air dam and behind it intake unit and the engine osselating when idleing I'm just happy as a 2 p******* billy goat!! The body/paint is way better that I hoped for, interior is nice except for drivers seat lumbar support leather wearing. Thanks for all the info you passed on.
 
TTA 1077, thanks for the heads-up also, Turbo1 jumped on the manual with all 4 before I could click my mouse!!!!!! Keep your eyes out for another, thanks
 
Sorry olddude, I got a little trigger happy, been on the hunt for one of those for a while, no hard feelings. I'm sure another will pop up sonner or later, maybe even cheaper.
 
The seller cybercarlot should have more just send them an eBay email requesting one..............
