Several years ago a guy in town owned a TTA and had some magnetic signs cut to the length of each door with the pace car decal design silk screened on to them. From 2 ft away you could not tell they were big magnets. Does anyone know if anyone makes these or do I just need to find a sign shop to make them for me?

This sounds like a great idea.......... I would be interested as well. 8)
I picked up a set of these when they were around. While a awesome idea I had them on only a few times. From 6 feet away it looks kinda ok but when your close it looks like a magnet on the door. Cheapens the car up IMO. The white is off on them and hard to match. You would almost have to get the magnet part painted the color of the car and then put the letters on. They look good on the inside of my garage door! 
I seem to recal that the one batch had the white painted to match, before the decals were applied.
Still though, I wouldn't mind having a set, just to put on every so often.
So many people look at the car at car shows, and never realize that the cars paced Indy that year.
I just don't want them on my car all the time.
