Paint work

Had some paint work done to my engine bay. It was one of the weak points of my car, didnt really blend in with the new paint on the outside. My painter unbolted some stuff and left the engine intact. He did a great job of matching it. He left my Scott Kelly signature there and blended everything in. I just got it back this evening and it looks awesome! Much better overall appearance now.:cheers:
 
Thanks guys! My car was pretty nice when I bought it, but I am picky about detail and I am slowly getting the car to where I want it. My painter offered to fix my incorrect body side molding placement while he was at it, but he said if the paint comes off with it, we would be in for a lot more money and time. So I am gonna hold off on that maybe till the cold weather arrives. Hardly anyone notices it, but a few people have mentioned it to me at shows. Thats always a Debbie Downer moment.:drop:

I only noticed 2-3 things that got paint and shouldn't have or should have and didn't! :p

My car lost its virginity a while ago, so I wasnt going for a concourse restoration look. Just nice presentation and a clean appearance.
I know the rubber hood bumpers are suppose to have white paint on them, but I prefer them all black. The spring on my hood is painted white, its supposed to be chrome colored I beleive. There are probably some other things you noticed. Feel free to point them out, I am always into learning more about the car.
 
He painted the little nubby things from the rubber isolators that hold the condenser. That's no biggie. Just take them out and play with them a bit and the paint will literally fall off.
