Parking Light Short

After fixing the ground battery cable and some electrical wires, I still have the parking lights blowing the fuse when I shut the lights off...any ideas of where this short is?

My car has some funky looking wire splicing and grounding in the wiring out by the headlights/parking lights... fuse blown once, not sure if that was the culprit?

Last night I rolled into the garage to trouble shoot the light circuit and started with the switch then unplugged the motors to the headlights, nothing. ...finally I took all the bulbs out from around the whole exempt the dash, tested the sockets for a grounded wire and found that the rear driver tail light wire is grounding out some where in between the wheel well and the fuse panel.
