Hey Guys...I am Going SAturday To pick up my tta...it has 54,000 miles on it..And is in really nice shape...I really dont know much about turbo cars and will probably be posting many questions soon.I think im am getting a really good deal on it because the dealer cant finance it and it has no cat on it.So they just want it gone..I was first one there and took it for 7500.00.Runs real strong..has comp ta drag slicks on it,no cat,dump tube,i noticed a line lock on it..and a valve attached to a hose running to the wastegate..But the other side of the valve didnt have a hose hooked up to it..Can this be used to adjust boost???I will put pics up when i get the car and will be trying to find out the build#...I am not sure what else is done to it and not really sure what to look for..Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated...Realy sorry about the extremely long post wont make any more this long.....Thanks In Advance....Shawn...{N.J.}

Congrats to you! Im sure you are so excited..
Once you find out your car #, be sure to submit it to be added to the registry page.

As for the Long posts. You are welcome to post as long as you want, and ask as many questions as you like. Actually I encourage you to as we need to TURN UP THE BOOST ON THIS BOARD!! :D :D
This is why this site and message board are here.

Enjoy!

Thanks Alot...And your right im very excited...cant wait.I have the vin# but cant get into the build# section of the site.But as soon as i figure it out i will submit it..Any input on the valve on the wastegate line?? There is no hose connected to the other side of the valve...if opened wouldnt this be a vacume leak??also the car has a rough idle..Tried to look for codes with snap on scanner but battery was stone dead had to jump start it.So any code would of been erased...This car will see some occasional passes @raceway park in englishtown..what would it take for these cars to go into the 12 sec range???

They call it a bleeder Valve to increase the Boost pressure.
That is an inexpensive way to turn the boost up, but also a very risky way. There are kits out there where you can mount a knob inside the car and adjust it on the fly. I would also recommend a 30 pound boost guage so you can really fine tune the boost.

Hope this Helps.
Others might have a different view towards this but well see.

Come On Guys, Can we get some Input Here...

DAmn..That was fast reply...lol..The car has a 30psi boost guage in it and also a knock guage..both in the pillar.with a fuel press.guage also i noticed that fuel press.is reading 20psi..to me that would seem low but not really sure...Thanks for the replys!!!!

Depending on the Injectors, the best way to set fuel pressure is with the Vaccum hose off the Fuel Press. Regulator. I have Blue Top Injectors and with the Vac. Off I have my Press. set at 49psi.
